~A Day Trip To Ipoh~

At 10:30 am, I went to the bus stop in front of McDonald with Hui Sieng and Shann, thought miss up the bus when saw the green colour bus moved. We run like crazy guys, but fail to get in the bus.

At 10:45am, A pink colour bus named as Perak Transit came. I remembered that I checked the bus go to Ipoh online is No. 66. Yes, it is No.66! We took this bus with another people who same direction with us. By taking an hour, we reached Ipoh bus station - Medan Kidd. Next, we took the bus to Ipoh Parade which is blue colour bus also named as Perak Transit.

The bus stopped when reached a road named xxx ( actually, I don't know the name of road). I felt like weird, is it Ipoh Parade? Absolutely, not! We had to walk in, but we got loss. The way of way out is ask Ipoh resident the way to Ipoh Parade. Finally, we found it.

There were many car, because of weekend and public holiday. We walk in to Ipoh Parade as careful as can, because the drivers were careless to passenger like us.

Doreamon Fair

There was a Doreamon Fair in Ipoh Parade, my idol, Doreamon n his trouble maker friend, Nobita didn't came (Disappointed T.T). But we had to go to the 3rd floor to queue up for buy the ticket "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" so that didn't miss up the 2.15 pm show.

  Luckily, we got it, because only leave for a few seats. After that, we settled our lunch at the Food Court nearby the cinema and then window shopping around Ipoh Parade while waiting for the show started.

At 2pm, we went back to the cinema, and queue up for enter the showroom. Shann bought a set of popcorn and soft drinks. After that, we entered the showroom. My favourite movie, Twilight Saga started after a few minutes.

The movie started, better we sat and watched it with do nothing. This episode of Twilight had a part seem like Final Destination which Bella want to give birth, she broken her bones and die (sad T.T). But thought property, if Bella didn't dead, how she changed into vampire like her husband, Edward?

After finished, we continued our window shopping again. Then after one an hour, we took bus went back to bus station and took another bus went back to Kampar.

3rd / Last Station ~ Community Service in Simpang Empat

 We had our last community service in Simpang Empat, a small town or also identified as village.

Once arrived at here, I felt like seem I already back to my hometown – Pantai Remis. People at here more spoke Teochew dialect, this made me felt like I more in my home, because I also speak Teochew mixed with Mandarin with my family.  

Rachel, Tze Wen, Hui Sieng, Winnie and I took charge in “Registeration” but only left Rachel and I to do it, because Tze Wen, Hui Sieng and Winnie were asked by someone else to do another thing.

Firstly, we thought the range of age for those people came to register is 71 to 3 years old. Suddenly a “po po” with her granddaughter came for register. She broke the record – be the oldest people at there with her age 86 years old. She still have a very strong and healthy body. All of us wanted to take a picture with her.

1:30pm, we had to finish our registeration and closed our counter. Many people came late felt disappointed with this. After finished our work, we also be a part of the patients and did the medical check. My blood pressure were low and my spectacle needed to change the new one, because can’t read the number at the wall.

After that, we had our group photo with the doctors and staffs. Then we rushed to bus like a nest of bees because scared can’t had a seat just because this time more people attended this community service.

2nd Station ~ Community Service in Teluk Intan

13 November 2011

  We came to S.R.J.K (C) Phooi Yong which in Teluk Intan, Perak by UTAR bus. The school is opposite to a cookies factory - Sin Yuan Chen. We were very excite, and looking forward for our mentee. I wished that my mentee is a very good student and can be good to me unlike my ex-students.

  The weather was cool and everyone was looking for the "ladies" and "men". Headmistress is a very nice lady and a smile of pleasure passed across her face. We gathered and our responsible person started call our name and mentees' name.

  After a while, just left 4 of us and 5 of mentees which still haven't called. "Next, Goh..." our responsible person called my name.Finally, my turn. My mentee was a boy, which look quite nice and obedient. He will bring me to the involved classes. Suddenly, I heard the responsible person asked the member left," Among u all, whose Malay language is good?" "She!" my friend, Hui Sieng answered. I wanted to walk faster but can't.

  Kata Nama Am，Khas，Kata Kerja，Ayat Majmuk，Ayat Aktif，Ayat Pasif and Nilai Murni, those were the syllabus we had to teach. Without blackboard and reference books, how can I cover all this with 2 little boy and girl. I wished them can understood what I taught.

  My mentees looked like very boring to my teaching method. I also can felt that, because this time unlike my teaching method in past. When I was a teacher, I can make a fun with my students, but this time I can't make it. Finally, I finished the syllabus within 3 hours and they also suffer within 3 hours too.

  The headmistress treated us very well. She asked the mentees gave us a gift.

光阴似箭，不知不觉地来到了第五个星期。
距离final exam， 还剩下大约4个星期。
很快地，2011 年就要结束了，迎来的是新的一年2012。

回想今年，发生了好多好多的事，多得十只手指都不够数。
像是我和朋友们各自展翅翱翔，飞向全新生活的一页。
来到金宝，一个对我很陌生的地方；一个说大不大，说小不小的地方。
全新的生活正等着我去摸索。
幸运的是，这地方让我认识许多新朋友。

UTAR，正在教育我走向未来的大学。
有时我总觉得这也许是上天的安排吧！
让我来到这里，体验不同的大学生活...
